O nama

Odeljenje za ćelijsko i tkivno inženjerstvo je formirano iz Laboratorije za ćelijsku kulturu, koja je osnovana 1990. godine sa ciljem da se u njoj vrše bazična, razvojna i primenjena istraživanja, kao i medicinska dijagnostika.

Odeljenje je raspoloživo za istraživanja u okviru naučnoistraživačkih projekata, za izradu doktorskih, master i diplomskih radova, za održavanje praktične nastave u okviru studijskih programa na fakultetu, za dijagnostičke analize i testove, kao i za analize i testove za potrebe privrede i drugih zainteresovanih korisnika.

U Odeljenju se vrše ispitivanja na različitim in vitro ćelijskim modelima, kako primarnim ćelijskim kulturama izolovanim iz humanog i životinjskog materijala, tako i na komercijalnim ćelijskim linijama. Odeljenje raspolaže velikom kolekcijom ćelijskih linija različitog species i tkivnog porekla. U odeljenju se takođe rade funkcionalna i morfološka ispitivanja humanih i životinjskih tkiva i dizajniranih tkivnih matrica.

Jedna od najvažnijih oblasti istraživanja koja se sprovode u Odeljenju je istraživanje adultnih matičnih ćelija i ispitivanje njihovog potencijala za primenu u tkivnom inženjerstvu i regenerativnoj medicini.

Odeljenje za ćelijsko i tkivno inženjerstvo, preko svojih istraživača, ostvaruje saradnju sa velikim brojem laboratorija, instituta i fakulteta u zemlji i inostranstvu.

Delatnosti

Istraživanja koja se sprovode u Odeljenju za ćelijsko i tkivno inženjerstvo se mogu svrstati u nekoliko istraživačkih oblasti:

  • Ispitivanje adultnih matičnih ćelija izolovanih iz humanog masnog tkiva, masnog tkiva i koštane srži životinjskog porekla i ispitivanje potencijala izolovanih adultnih matičnih ćelija za primenu u tkivnom inženjerstvu i regenerativnoj medicine;
  • Ispitivanje biokompatibilnosti različitih prirodnih i sintetskih biomaterijala na primarnim i permanentnim ćelijskim kulturama i procena njihove potencijalne primene u regenerativnoj medicini kao tkivnih matrica u različitim granama hirurgije;
  • Ispitivanje dizajniranih 3D skafolda na ćelijskim kulturama i njihova priprema za in vivo ispitivanja;
  • Ispitivanje biokompatibilnosti stomatoloških materijala na primarnim i permanentnim ćelijskim kulturama;
  • Testiranje biljnih ekstrakata, novosintetisanih hemijskih jedinjenja, lekova i drugih biološki aktivnih agenasa na različitim ćelijskim kulturama;
  • Testiranje potencijalnih kozmeceutika i biološki aktivnih jedinjenja namenjenih za pripremu kozmetičkih sredstava, prirodnog ili sintetskog porekla, na različitim in vitro ćelijskim modelima;
  • Ispitivanje efekata hrane i komponenata hrane na ćelijskim kulturama.

Metode i analize

U Odeljenju za ćelijsko i tkivno inženjerstvo se na ćelijskim kulturama in vitro rade sledeće analize i testovi:

  • testovi citotoksičnosti
  • testovi apoptoze i nekroze
  • testovi ćelijske proliferacije, migracije i adhezije
  • analiza ćelijskog ciklusa
  • testovi genotoksičnosti
  • funkcionalni i morfološki testovi za procenu osteogene, adipogene, endotelogene i hondrogene diferencijacije ćelija u interakcijama sa biološki aktivnim agensima
  • funkcionalni i morfološki testovi za procenu diferencijacionog potencijala adultnih matičnih ćelija
  • testovi fagocitoze, analiza in vitro antiinflamatorne aktivnosti i imunokompatibilnosti biološki aktivnih agenasa
  • analiza ekspresije specifičnih proteina u ćelijama i tkivima

U odeljenju se primenjuju sledeće metode:

  • izolacija ćelija, kultivacija ćelija i standardne metode rada sa ćelijskim kulturama
  • metode svetlosne mikroskopije za analizu ćelija u kulturi i tkiva (fazni kontrast, svetlo polje, fluorescencija)
  • protočna citometrija
  • automatizovana analiza ćelija i pojedinih ćelijskih funkcija u realnom vremenu metodom merenja impendance
  • citohemijsko i imunocitohemijsko bojenje ćelija
  • fluorescentno i imunofluorescentno bojenje ćelija
  • ELISA testovi
  • histohemijska i imunohistohemijska bojenja tkiva
  • biološki eseji i biohemijske metode analize ćelijskih funkcija
